Anyone can become iron deficient—women, men, and children. However, women are by far the largest group of people at risk for developing IDA. People considered at highest risk for IDA include: (9-11)
 
WARNING: Hemochromatosis and hemosiderosis are contraindications to iron therapy. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
